Movie Plot

Movie Plot
In this most anticipated game-to-movie adaptation, we follow Prince Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) as he teams up with Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to stop a ruthless leader from laying his hands on the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can be used to reverse time and rule the world.
As we can expect from Walt Disney Pictures, it starts off in reminiscence of their animated "Aladdin", what with the kid with an apple, running from palace guards and jumping from handle bars to roofs - only this time, sans the monkey. Then it goes into real action. The attack on the eastern gates of Alamut scene is mesmerising, and throughout the whole nearly two-hour experience, it goes from one great scene to another without stopping for insignificant breathers. No wasted moments there. Characters are almost all interesting, from the hashahins to the dahakas, even if some - like the entrepreneurial sheikh who hates taxes (and his mother) - is cliched.

Special Forces, consisting of Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) - operational control; Jensen (Chris Evans) - communications and tech; Roque (Idris Elba) - demo and tactical; Pooch (Columbus Short) - transportation and heavy weapons and Cougar (Oscar Jaenada) as a long-range shooter.
Out of the five losers, Jensen's character acted by Chris Evans stands out the most. He is definitely at ease portraying a computer whiz who provides most of the laughter in the movie with his lame jokes at rather inappropriate times. He might be a geek in this movie but he sure has kept his body buff! His moment to shine was when he is sent in to company to steal some information all on his own.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays Clay, the Colonel whose weakness is women. Being forced to hide in Bolivia as a fugitive, he suffers some identity loss as well. However, Jason Patric as Max the mysterious villain is unconvincing. He walks around wearing an immaculate suit with a glove on his left hand while ordering his minions around. This character is a bit unreal as a cold-blooded killer who wants the world to be in chaos.

PS: "The Losers" focuses more on expanding their characters than delivering one action scene after another without much story. Each character has their own moments and just like in the comics, the good guys always wins even though they might be overpowered. The movie has it all - action crime fighting, steamy bedroom scenes, comical scenes and funny dialogue. However, even though it caters to a male audience, the action scenes are not that heavy duty. Watch this if you are looking for a lighter action movie or if you are a fan of Chris Evans.

Movie Plot
The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armoured superhero Iron Man. "Ice Kacang Puppy Love" is based on Taiwan-based Malaysian Ah Niu growing up in Penang. In this directorial debut, he also stars as the boy who is a little shy. It's love at first sight when a girl moves to his forsaken Penang village and he grows up with her through primary and secondary school. However, she's a bit of a tomboy who can fight off bullies while he's so timid that he can't even make coffee at his father's shop.
